Anniversary date night

It's our wedding anniversary this week. The thing is, by the time I'm home from work in the week, I'll be too tired to go celebrate... Probably. So we had a wonderful anniversary weekend this weekend.

It started with watching Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina, in bed on Saturday morning. That was fabulous and had me asking the question, why don't we do that more often?

Anyway, in the evening we thought we'd try out our local Mexican eatery, El Gringo.

 It was fab, it wasn't posh, it was very lively, the food was gorgeous and the staff jolly.

Afterwards we went off to our local Irish bar where there was a Canadian guy singing Irish songs. There was a great vibe and atmosphere. Such a wonderful time.

It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary, and this morning we continued making the most of our weekend by taking the dogs for a walk around the local lake in the spring sunshine.
